The NETEACH MOO Sessions are the brainchild of Greg Younger and Karla Frizler, who sought a way to use the Internet to fill several needs for professional development in the field of ESOL: The NETEACH MOO Sessions were announced at the 1996 TESOL convention in Chicago, Illinois and launched in April of that year. They continue to inspire and inform teachers around the world.

Scheduling
In order to accomodate our extremely distributed membership, we alternate the times for our NETEACH MOO Sessions, one session at a time convenient for those in Asia and the next for those in Europe, both at "reasonable" times for those in the US. (...whatever "reasonable" means to MOOers! :o) ) To double-check your local time relative to announced times, your best bet is to log into schMOOze U, where the time is always set to Eastern US time (standard or daylight, depending on the season), and calculate the difference.

Another way is to take a look at a time-zone conversion Web sites such as the Local Times Around the World site. NOTE: I *think* this site is accurate, but sometimes these clocks can lead to mistakes if they don't take daylight time into account! I'm making no guarantees!
